EAA Chapter 468

Experimental Aircraft AssociationChapter 468 is part of the worldwide network of EAA chapters, which embody the spirit of aviation through the world’s most engaged community of over 170,000 aviation enthusiasts. Chapter 468 meets every second Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Candler Field Museum Doug Davis Hangar for fellowship, presentations, learning opportunities, aircraft building assistance, and “hangar flying.” For more information, email Bill Reynolds or visit the EAA Chapter 468 Facebook page.

 

Barnstormer’s Workshop

Barnstormer's WorkshopBarnstormer’s Workshop is a full-service aircraft maintenance facility offering quality restorations, repairs, and general aircraft maintenance. Barnstormer’s workshop buys and sells aircraft as well. Owner David Harwell is a third-generation aviation enthusiast who holds an A&P license, inspection authorization, and private pilot’s license. Flying Club

Candler Field Flying ClubThe Flying Club exists to offer affordable flight instruction to Youth Aviation Program members as well as their families and friends. On occasion, the club offers glider flights at Peach State Aerodrome to the public for a nominal fee. The mission of The Hank Sasser Foundation is to continue the passion of leadership and aviation by providing resources and education to others who will keep it going. The Hank Sasser Foundation partners with the Candler Field Museum’s Youth Aviation Program to award scholarships to individuals interested in furthering their education in aviation.es and education to others who will keep it going.
