We are sorry for the inconvenience, but tickets are not available for purchase at this time.
If you would like the thrill of a lifetime, come and ride with us in an open cockpit biplane!
The airplane, a Waco YMF-5, allows two people to sit in the front cockpit while the pilot flies from the cockpit behind.
Rides are sold by appointment.
The duration of the ride averages 15-20 minutes.
Rides in the Waco are free but you will have to pay $100 per person for the landing. The second person on the same flight will be charged $50. Longer rides are available on request at a higher price.

We use a newer version of an old biplane – a Waco YMF-5. The airplane has space in the front cockpit for 2 passengers. The pilot seats in the rear cockpit.
Yes, this depends upon size and weight but generally we can take 2 people.
A biplane is an airplane that has two wings – an upper and a lower. The design comes from the 1920's. Newer aircraft only have one wing.
A typical flight will take about 15-20 minutes from the time you enter the airplane until we land.
Yes, you can ask for a longer ride. We will charge an additional fee for longer rides. Usually 15-20 minutes is more than adequate to experience the thrill of open cockpit flying.
We usually fly around the Williamson area. If you would like to ride over your house or to a specific place (within a few miles) you may want to pay for a longer ride. Our regular ride is about 15 minutes and we simply fly around the local area.
Yes, we have an intercom system allowing you to talk to the pilot.
The airplane speed is about 100 MPH during cruise. It takes off and lands at about 70 MPH.
We usually fly about 1,000 -1,500 feet above the ground.
No, we don’t do aerobatics in this aircraft.
We typically do not allow passengers to fly the airplane unless they are rated pilots.
Yes you will. We provide a helmet and goggles for each passenger.
Not at the present time. We do intend to have rides in different types of airplanes in the future.
Older aircraft are maintained very well. We are required to perform maintenance on the aircraft every 100 hours of flight in addition to a major inspection once each year. We are very strict with our maintenance standards.
Yes, all of our pilots are very experienced with a lot of old airplane flying time. Many of them are corporate or airline pilots. Our pilots receive training and are very diligent concerning safety matters.
I doubt this will happen but if it does we will return immediately. We want your flying experience to be very pleasant.
I doubt this will happen either. If so, we have sick bags for you. Generally, on a 15-20 minute flight getting airsick is very unusual.
No, it is not that windy at all.
No, we only fly in good weather. If the winds are too strong or the weather is not good we don’t fly. This airplane is designed for good weather flying only.
We usually only offer rides during the warm months. If the temperature is below about 60 degrees it is often uncomfortable.
We certainly do. A biplane ride makes an excellent gift.
Certainly. We will allow you to pose with the airplane.
It certainly is. I can’t think of a better first flight than in an open cockpit biplane.
