Peach State Airpark is a planned airport community centered on antique and experimental airplanes. The development has a total of 29 lots varying in size from 1 acre to 3 acres. All lots have access to the runway (3,000 ft grass strip) through taxiways and roads. County water and underground utilities are part of the development. The airpark is a gated community with access being gained through a coded entrance. The main road serves as both an automobile road and an aircraft taxiway. A picnic area and dock are located on the existing spring fed lake. In addition, a walking trail weaves through the area.
This development has a very strict set of covenants that may be viewed on this website. A Homeowner's Association has been formed to preside over common areas. Airpark view runway access will be legally bound for as long as each lot owner remains in good standing with the Association. Each homeowner owns a share in the runway.
A separate commercial area is being developed consisting of 18.5 acres. All commercial activities will take place within this area along with the existing commercial area on the east side of the airport. Plans for the commercial area include an antique airplane museum (Candler Field), rental hangars, and Barnstormer's Grill. A Bed and Breakfast will be constructed for visitors to the site.

You can reserve a lot by placing a $5,000 deposit that will apply to the purchase price of the lot. This will reserve your lot choice until we can actually deed the property to you. This deposit will be refundable in the event that construction does not begin in a timely manner.
There will be a total of 29 lots.
Yes, there are 11 lots that are designated for hangar/apartments. You must build at least a 1,200 sq ft apartment that is attached to your hangar. It cannot be within the hangar itself. The minimum size hangar is 50 ft x 50 ft.
Yes, the roads will serve as taxiways to reach the runway.
The remaining 16 lots will be home/hangar lots. A house with a hangar may be constructed on these lots. The minimum size house is 2,400 square feet.
Yes, there will be T-hangars available to rent with first priority being given to airpark residents.
No business activity is allowed on the residential lots. All business activity will be located within the designated commercial area.
No, our plans are to leave the runway grass. We are encouraging antique aircraft flying and as you know, antique aircraft like grass runways.
The airport will have an antique airplane museum, a bed and breakfast, and a restaurant. Other than that, there is one restoration business on the field.
County water will be brought into the property along with underground utilities. Septic systems will be required.
Yes, there is a paved walking trail that winds throughout the property.
